Your guitar recording chain?

prs w/dimebucker-blackstar ht-20 studio-blackstar htv4x12 angled-sm57

Too poor for a tubescreamer and only one working cable, so I can't record di's either :(

Chain is usually the same with maybe an added amp for flavor..

Whatever guitar-home made ts-Splawn Quickrod--Mesa OS--SM57 dead center and a tube U47 dead center--Chandler TG2--PT

The next amp is a reamp with the Mesa Triple Voodoo Mod amp, same stuff.

Good gear and you'll never have to tweak!

Used to be:

DIs: Guitar -> Countryman Type 85 -> API A2D analog in -> API A2D converters -> SPDIF digital out -> RME AIO digital in for DIs
Tracking tone: Guitar -> Countryman Type 85 -> Maxon OD-820 -> 5150/5150 III -> Eventide pedals (sometimes) ->Mesa OS 4x12 -> sm57 -> simple high/low pass -> Soundtoys Echoboy/Crystallizer for ITB effects
Reamp: RME AIO analog out -> Reamp V2 -> same guitar chains

but right now enjoying Guitar -> Maxon OD-820 (sometimes) -> Kemper -> SPDIF digital out -> RME AIO digital in for guitars :]

Typically:
Guitar>BSS AR133>NS2>TS7>Amp (whatever I have at the time)>Rectifier cab>57 & something else (421/4040/SM7B)>Allen & Heath R16

If I'm reamping I use a Radial Pro RMP.

In: Countryman Type 85 > M-Audio Profire 2626 > Custom Built High Performance Computer

Reamping/IR Making: Radial ReAmp (Modified) > 5150 > SM57 is usually there somewhere, but I have a few other mics I like to blend in as well > Profire 2626 > Custom Comp.

EffigyForgotten, i could watch your sig all day and all night.

But anyways, here's the chain u tend to use:

Guit-fiddle > (sometimes) ts9 > PreSonus TubePre > AudioBox > DAW > Ozone Exciter (if im not tracking with new strings) > EMG81 IR (if i track with my flubby sounding pups for a quick in-the-mix solution, usually for lower tunings) > PodFarm (for gate, slight comp and tubescreamer if i don't use ts9 before mic pre) > TSE808 (for leads/solos only) > amp > IR spres_high blended with Lecab stock SoloC impulse > post eq

I believe this is TSE X40 in this clip, 5150 voice on the left, mesa voice on the right.
