For PC , Only need a couple of inputs. Best converters and pre's combination in this price range. A couple I've been looking at are the Saffire pro 14 and the impact twin. Got to be FW.

Focusrite Saffire pro 40.
I have the Saffire Pro 24 and I'll tell you straight up that the Pro 40 is much better for the money, especially on ebay, & even if you don't really need the extra 6 channels. Always good to have down the road. But if size is an issue well then...

Focusrite Saffire Pro 40. I just got mine off of eBay for $340. The pres in this thing are amazing!! I would definitely recommend the pro 40.
