Your thoughts on The Forsaken?

I digged in my cd collection and found 2 The Forsaken cds: Traces of the Past and The Art of Desolation. What are your thoughts on them? I think they're a pretty interesting and underrated melodic death metal band. They evolved A LOT in terms of song writing since their first album, yet they stayed true to the style they play. Good band, you guys should give them some listens, I know you can download their songs on their website, you should check it out. I wish I could post some, but I have none downloaded on my computer

I've got thier 3 albums, awesome band. crazy thrashy melodic death.

I like them a lot, definitely an underappreciated band. They're defintely much more on the death/thrash side of things than other bands labeled "melodic death".

You're right, I was just referring to how Century Media's marketing team lumped them in with bands like At the Gates and Arch Enemy.
