Your thoughts on this vocal track?

I am not into the music too particularly, or at all actually, but a friend of mine wanted to hear the singer of my band, who normally does death metal, sing clean for his bands song just to see what he sounded like. The vocals themselves aren't too bad, but I was wondering what you guys think of the actual sound of the vocals, how it was recorded, etc. as I am looking for tips on how to make them better in the future, seeing as this was my first time recording them. It was only done in maybe three seperate takes, one for each section, and then the screams. I used an MXL 2001 mic with a sock over the front to help the wind noise (no pop filter :() into Cubase, where I ran a compressor over the track, then grouped the tracks, and ran another compressor over the group.

I know the screams could be recorded better, however. He hunched over to scream them so he was about 3 feet away from the mic, and aiming at the ground. He liked how it sounded in the end though, so why bother?
