Im buying one this weekend. that and the AKG C 430 Twin pack. does anyone know if those AKG'S are worth a shit for HH and Ride

Got me an sm7 after renting one for a job a couple of months back... it's just such a complete vocal sound! LOVE IT! singers love it too cos you dont need to use a pop sheld!

As far as I know not to much. The SM7 is known to be very quit. You need a good pre with a lot of good gain. The SM7b is suppose to be a little bit louder.
