Aww man, that's impossible.

The bands that would feature in such a list for me would be Blood Red Throne, Rotting Christ, Bolt Thrower and Soilwork......but as far as individual riffs go..... :s

Well, ok...

I *think* #1 would be the flailing riff that opens-up the main body of Blood Red Throne's RAVENOUS WAR MACHINE!!!! after the intro. They only play it about 3 times at the start. I think it comes in at about the 28 second mark.

Other contenders....Rotting Christ, the openers for Snowing Still and The First Field of the Battle.

Soilwork, Millionflame (of course =), In a Close Encounter, Like the Average Stalker (of course =)

Quite a few Ebony Tears riffs as well.
