1. Clayman - In Flames (been listening to this album for years, not kidding, and I still listen to it regularly)
2. The Jester Race - In Flames (probably melodic metal's most important release, an instant metal classic)
3. Somewhere In Time - Iron Maiden (their most unique album and easily my favorite album from the band. Usually when I play Iron Maiden I do something off this album)
4. The Stence Of Redemption - Deicide (it just came out but man I can't help but think about it a lot, this album might go down in history as a classic)
5. The Mantle - Agalloch (this one is an obvious pick, America's best metal album)
6. Burzum - Burzum (One of my most listened to albums, still love it)

Other mentions would include Pitch Black Progress - Scar Symmetry, Filosofem - Burzum, Show No Mercy - Slayer, Hatebreeder - Children Of Bodom, and The Crusher - Amon Amarth (don't ask me why I just find that album as underrated as can be sorta like the bands Novembre and Destroyer 666)

Judas Priest-British Steel
Black Label Society-Mafia
Black Sabbath-Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Megadeth-Countdown To Exinction
Metallica-...And Justice For All
Pantera-Far Beyond Driven

It brings a tear to my eye just to see it:cry:

Draconian - Arcane Rain Fell
Symphony X - The Odyssey
Opeth - Still Life
Cradle of Filth - Cruelty and the Beast
Graveworm - As the Angels Reach the Beauty
Tristania - Widow's Weeds

Not really my six favorite of all time, but I thought these were pretty great.

I agree that The Mantle is the best album to be released from America, but I extend it to "ever." The rest of his list is shit though, despite SIT and Burzum's s/t being good.
