...of my dog.

SO i've had the chance to try out the Blackmore for real this time and I'm pretty happy with the results. It seems you CAN get a brutal sound out of this thing! Of course it's not as brutal as he savage but it's really near.

Oh I also tried out some more of iMovies awesome effects :Puke:

Whaddya think=?

This definitely does not sound like a stock Blackmore.

The playing and tone is great, as usual. Single 57, right Ola?

You are the only reason I consider owning an Engl. You oughtta try to get endorsed.

Was that all done through the Benton? Impressive!

Though I think I still prefer the Savage tone on the original versions of the track you had up (sorry!). The Blackmore sounds quite a bit more tame and 'dull'. Like a knife that hasn't quite been fully sharpened, if you know what I mean. Though still damn good.

the blackmore is my favorite of the current line engls (closely followed by the savage=
the only Engl that's better IMO is the straight.

I used to play a blacky live for like 5 years...pretty cool amp

nice song also

Yes, SM57 straight into the edge of the cone.

Yes, The harley benton sounds pretty decent. Not the best build quality but as long as you are micing close to the speaker it doesn't really matter.

BTW thanks guys you rock.

Blackmore may be one of the most versatile amps I've tried, sounds very convincing on lower gain, crunch and clean to me as well and that's one of the main reasons I bought it. Now I only have to get myself some sort of a Stratocaster and indulge myself in Ritchies licks... Go go Blackmore!

That's the thing. It really shines when gain is between 9 and 12 o clock. Higher setting than 12 makes the sound to grainy and undefined.

My favourite Feared song!

Really nice tone, although I agree with Ermz, the original one you had on that song is still the best I've heard from you.
Great playing, as usual...
