YT: My new Harley Benton cab...

Hey man do you mind posting your setting for me, im still dinking around trying to find the best way to dial my savage in. would sure appreciate it, awsome tone!

Since this is recorded on very low volume I had to tweak it like hell: If you watch the clip in HD on youtubes site you can see the settings in the beginning.

But live and when I crank the amp I use the following settings:

I'm always using the lead channel for rhythm tones with the crush gain at maximum and the lead gain between 9 and 12 o clock. Bass, mids and treble around 11-13. No depth and no countour. Presence around 10 o clock. Hope that helps.

Great playing and awesome tone man!
+1 to the pantera-ish vibe.
What chain are you using for the bass?

ASs Jazzbascopy ---> Mackie Onyx----> Split into two channels. One with the whole frequency range and... why am I writing in english to you?!?!

So you max the Gain pot and set the Lead pot between 9 and 12? What about the Hi-range suppressor (in the 120 it has a different name...in my 60, the more you raise it, more upper mids you get)?

One easy way to tell is to look at a pic of the cab and see if the grille cloth looks removable (like if there are little tabs at the bottom to pull it off); if it is, it's almost certainly front-mounted (but I'm pretty certain the HB is rear-, cuz the apparently identical Framus 2x12 is as well)

Yup, my framus 212 is rear loaded. They are NOT identical though...I payed 100 euros more for the framus than I would have for the HB.

:erk:

That's by no means evidence ;) And I've heard multiple times that they are! (I mean, I could be wrong, but just cuz one econo-cab costs more and has a different color tolex/badge than another doesn't mean they weren't made by the same mass-production group!)

yes it's the same factory building them!
350 euro for a 4x12 is a steal lol ;) ... that's what I paid
