As a courtesy to those of you on this board who either know or are familiar with Zane Brown (AKA Zanex), I post the following tragic news.
Apparently, Zane was drinking alcoholic beverages early Tuesday morning and he aspirated his vomitus which was essentially pure alcohol. He was rushed to a local ER sometime around 4 a.m. where it was determined he had no heartbeat/pulse. The ER doctor was able to resuscitate him, but could get no response from the brain. He was immediately airlifted to a hospital in Lexington, Ky., where he remains in ICU. CT scans have revealed swelling in his brain due to lack of oxygen. As I understand it, his heart and lungs are functioning perfectly, but no response from the brain at all to this point.
He is in bad shape and his prospects are not very encouraging at the moment.
I would just ask you to keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers (for the religious folks).
