No Im not talking about the song by famed Chicago metal act Macabre. I am wondering what zodiac sign you are , and if you buy into any of that stuff?

I am a Saggitarius, I think I have alot of traits of a Saggitarius: I like to travel, I mediate alot of fights, I am jovial :D,etc, etc.

I m scorpio and i dont think that zodiac dont have any influences on the personnality. Why if i was borned at the begining of the year or the middle or at the end i willl be different.
Personnality is build on your experience and past.

They love music and poetry and frequently daydream. They often have a private inner world which is a very special and precious place to them, but they can be deeply compassionate towards other people who are unhappy.
Other people sometimes find Pisces hard to understand, because they feel so deeply and see many things in life which they cannot share with more practical types. They love the magic and mystery of the ocean, and wild, unspoilt scenery. They often need to be on their own, but always return to the company of others, for they are happiest when they have someone or something to be devoted to.
They have a vivid imagination, and others who do not share this gift may think they daydream too much. But these daydreams are most important to them.

yes, but you are not only influenced by outer factors (heritance, experience, environment) but also by the state of planets at the moment of your birth.
call it stupid, illogical or what else -- it's a fact, you won't be able to deny it forever ;)
only as an example: most here are into celtic culture/mythology and/or nordic religions, and fact is, all these old cultures were deeply dependent and also believing in what we call today "astrology". so we'd all be hypocrites if we say, we worship and appreciate the old way and then say astrology is bullshit.
(note: i'm talking about a serious and meaningful approach, not the daily horoscope)

Sagittarius! We're the coolest one bro, a Hunter Centaur :kickass:

I am who I make myself to be, not who the 'stars' tell me to be or what miss Cleo or anyone else might.

no serious astrologer has ever claimed that the stars tell one what he haas to do. this is what YOU interpret.

"stars make you inclined, but they don't force you to be or do"

so i'm safe because i don't worship and appreciate the old way i guess. ;)
but really, what kind of relation can be scientifically inferred between astral bodies millions of light-years away and a person's psychological traits. what's this? particles travelling through space?

no, you're not safe :p

an example from real life:
we all know there's people who are somnabulists. and we know they do mostly at full moon. why? cos moon has an influence on our body AND your psyche.
can modern medicine tell us why? no. but it's there.
some people respond stronger than others to planetary movements.

i am sure there are scientific (meaning astro-physical) studies and observations on this topic (why another planet - billions of light-years away - has an influence on earthly matters).

hmm, i'm not convinced of the factual evidence. show me unbiased data on a connection between somnambulism and full moon. :)

besides, even if it were true, there are gravitational effects of the moon on the earth. there are no such effects of far away stars on the earth.

well, it's a scientific fact that moon has a gravitational effect on earth...........

the basic approach is: cosmos mirrors itself in (for example) man.
it's hard for me to explain in english - get the basic idea of C.G. Jung's "Synchronicity as the Principle of Acausal Connections".

i have the suspicion, here's many Freudians, going by the opinion "tabula rasa at birth".
