Zodiac :)

well, it's a scientific fact that moon has a gravitational effect on earth...........
and i wasn't doubting that, in fact. gravitational effect, however, is quite separate from a definite effect on people's psyche.

the basic approach is: cosmos mirrors itself in (for example) man.
it's hard for me to explain in english - get the basic idea of C.G. Jung's "Synchronicity as the Principle of Acausal Connections".
i'll read it. i read other works from jung and they didn't go in any direction to scientifically prove stars have an effect on my mind.

i have the suspicion, here's many Freudians, going by the opinion "tabula rasa at birth".
not me. i'm interested in language philosophy, a science that has disproved this theory shortly after the '50s.

as far as i know, only later in his working life he got more into astrology.
i found an english quote (so i don't have to translate it :p ): " 'Psychological Types': The individual disposition is already a factor in childhood; it is innate, and not acquired in the course of life."

not that I'm a psychologist, i just find it interesting that pure scientists tend to integrate astrology. to me, psychology and astrology have one big issue in common: psyche. and i find it very positive that "science" does not categorically exclude serious astrological work :)

here's a big gap: can "modern" science give me an evidence against? no, because "modern" science trusts exclusively measurable facts.
but you and I and everyone can observe and experience changes in people's behaviour every month, exactly 2 days before full moon. does this follow any definable reason? not really. but it is apparent. i don't need technical device to observe people getting more nervous than usually, easier aroused than usually, more erratic than usually.
there's the a big difference, and also there's the reason why astrology is diminished these days.
but we're already slipping into the age of aquarius - in some few hundred years, the goddamned christian Pisces era is totally overcome and an air-sign will rule people's thoughts *weeeeeeee* :Spin:

proof is proof for. proof against is court-room fiction. facts can be disproved, but non-existence can't be proved. the burden of proof lies on those who claim there are connections.

no, i don't. i never did. i refute this fact. i never observed anything of the sort, i'm sorry.

even if your observations had both a scientific and a statistical basis which effectively connects the full moon with changes in people's behaviour, i could still assume the connection is limited to the moon and i would be interested in investigating the gravitational attraction more closely to understand how it related to a person's mind. astral bodies other than the moon are still completely out of the picture.

i must say i'm not inclined to lean on observations about a difference between now and a few hundred years away. ;)

You can ask any law enforcement office and they will tell you that there is a direct link between the full moon and violent behavior :D.
yes, and of course i'm taking a werewolf's word to prove something about the full moon, right. :p

I'm a Leo, which is fairly ironic, because a Leo is supposed to be self-confident (oh yeah that's me!), a born leader (hah!), self-centred, excellent organizer (fuck off), outgoing (I wish...)...
I wonder if I wasn't left by a highway somewhere when I was a child and they found me, placed me in a family and just provided me with a fake birth date?

I'm a virgo, I'm a virgo!! :D
Just like Ben :D

Virgo. This means: You have a typical (and very good) taste in music, you like koekjes very much, are pretty much hyper and read a lot. The bunnies will come to you!

But dear Rahvin, the first words I associate with your name are library and normal old sex - it can't be a coincidence that both those words appear in the text you quoted, can it? ;)

-Villain (who occasionally does some sleepwalking with no regard for the moon or any other cosmic object - instead, my father once noted I tend to do it more often when the light at our front door, just beside my window, is on...)

@normal old sex. i'm surprised you don't know about my kinky side... i think you should ask |ngenius. ;)

anyway, i'm a taurus. i consciously chose a funny horoscope from this week's list. if something deep was going on (aside from sex, of course) it was all in my head: the stars were watching in silence like old pimps. :p
