Damn man the guitars sound FANTASTIC! I went and listened to all of your other clips too and am thoroughly impressed... So it's just 5150 > ENGL cab w/V30s > SM57 into your USB interface?

Well then I think I might opt for that ENGL Pro 4x12 like you have over the Mesa 4x12 I was saving up for... Only problem is then I'll have no excuses left when I still can't get my guitars to sound that good!

Snare is a bit dry and too loud, but damn! the rest sounds great man.. how the hell did you get a nice tom and kick sound like that with DFHS?

That is the single guitar. Just raw. Then through the chain. Obviously as it's soloed all the mastering stuff will effect it differently in the abscene of the drums/bass etc.
The toms were the stock Sonar kit. I Bussed them to their own group. Applied Light compression. Some gated Verb mixed in 50% (the stock Cubase Reverb A plugin). With the EQ I gave a boost around 120ish as I felt they lacked oomph and balls when comparing to the original Zombie Inc. Also gave a hi shelf for more life then a boost at 8khz.
Then were then bussed to the drum group. Where the drums got some RComp. I think that's how I got my snare so loud. I went overboard. I'm so used to my snare being pack raped when I do any mastering. I couldn't beleive how loud it was getting though. At least I know for next time. Still gotta work on my snare.
The kick was 22" Sonar with the tama faderhead 03. Blended 60%. I then scooped some 230hz. Similar to what you posted in that S7 Thread. :Smug:

I lied...here are the really setting...
Hahaha nah just a low/hi pass as follows
I added a new mix with a better snare hopefully. Also not as loud.
Also the clean guitar is just DI'ed with an EMG89 and some verb added.
