zoom pedal

a question for guitarists
i have this ZOOM GFX 707 pedal(well its not mine, its my brothers')
i dont really understand what all the shit with numbers when you program a new guitar sound in it
anyway, does anyone know how to get a really good genuine black metal sound??, i foudn one that was really cheesy and didnt sound very black metal at all
i just need it because i have thgis little project with a guy i talk to via msn, i do guitar and bass, he does lyrics vocals and does the drum machine

i also own a 707, i know how to operate it, but I was wondering if anyone had any good patch settings i could use for a kick ass death metal sound

Black metal, go with the Metal 7th patch and fix it to be as black as you need it. i found it to be quite uncontrolable though, i like the Metal Zone because its easier to control and more solo friendly, and i dont play much Black metal (but i do listen to it).
