No, it's just that "you have no idea who i am" implies that I give a flying fuck who he is, and that it'd make any difference whatsoever, and "if you did you'd shut your mouth" sounds either like I should hold him in reverence (haha), or a veiled threat of some sort of fisticuffs or other.
