While I generally prefer a little more bite to my post rock / metal, I did really enjoy that. I could listen to "Unmake The Wild Light" all day.

I liked the album, but I found that it always gave me a headache half way through lol.

I'm surprised I haven't seen any mention of the new TesseracT album. I still have some more discs I need to check out, but I'm pretty sure that will be my top album for the year.

I'm liking the new album from Year Of No Light. I think the whole "post metal" thing has died down in recent years, but there is still great music being made and I think this is a perfect example.

I just got the Atoma album recently after sitting on my to buy list for a while. Such an outstanding album. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more press than it has (or maybe I just haven't seen the press). I don't think there's a bad song on the album.

I know its not their best album, but one of my favorite 5.1 albums is the "Lightbulb Sun" album from Porcupine Tree. It also helps that "Shesmovedon" is one of my favorite songs. Period.

So it finally came out... and somehow I missed it! Sounds good.
