+1 I could be corrected in this bands case, but in my experience most death metal bands enjoy telling other people how fast they are. The faster the tempo the bigger the dicks.

I used to do this for similar reasons as mentioned above, but I've found (in my experiences at least) some guitarists "respond" differently when there's an organic tone coming from their fingers. They pick certain ways to get a certain sound and when you reamp with another tone/mic/cab/whatever...

You'd have to be a little specific with that one :P different cities in SA have different accents almost like the difference between New York and Texas accents. Also white South African accents are different to coloured and black accents. Some of which sound terrible in my opinion! Love it...
