Haha have you noticed that quite a bit of Opeth lyrics talk about fuckin landscape, nature and shit mixed with death metal themes?! So if Drapery Falls is about a waterfall wouldn't actually suprise me.

I disagree. Most of Still Life and Deliverance the bass mix is pretty low. BWP I can hear fine. As for best bass lines and what not sounds good on every album. And would have to say Ghost Reveries is Martin's finest stuff!

Put it this way. He pretty much used that beat in every Opeth song. Maybe write up a list of songs that DOESN'T have the drum beats. I'm sure that one will be much easier to do :)

Hex Omega is one of my favourites off Watershed. The Mellow riffs in the verses are amazing, Mikael's clean vocals imo are at it's best, the solo is cool, the keys bridge is mad and the ending is one of the best I've heard. Clearly an amazing song and anyone who disagrees, well........fuck man!

Actually after watching recent performances of Leper Affinity on youtube Fredrik fucks up Peter's little solo. It starts off good but then fucks it makin it sound like shit. But still he's awesome!! As for The Funeral Portrait, anyone know where live footage can be found? I wanna see how good...

You're credited as the composer. But you could also credit the other two as arrangers (that's how Lars Ulrich got credit) since they're working out their parts to fit around your music.

What about JB? I dnt even look at Sanity these days. And Yesum a fan of Mastodon! Saw them live bak in '07 with Slayer when they did their aussie tour. That night rocked!!

Good ol' Slayer stickin to their roots still. Also Tom Araya's voice amazes me. After all these years he's still screaming the fuck out of those songs (apart from the ones where he actually sings) and still sounds fresh.

I'm in Melbourne, Australia. In the northern suburbs where I am there's mostly metro, muzza fags that are seen everywhere. In the city emo's can be seen all over the joint. Especially Flinders Street station. And as for the metal heads, I usually see a few at my tafe in Box Hill other than that...
