Thanks for the reply. I have the legit software. I have just been unable to load presets that I have downloaded from their forum. I can see them in the folders I place them in, but I am unable to select them. That's why I am wondering if they need to be placed in a certain place or the extension...

That was an extremely helpful post. I'm just starting out so it is good to read things like ears taking a while to develop, because it can be frustrating sometimes when I cannot hear certain "annoying" frequencies that others can. Thanks Ermz!!

Ya know... I've never gotten deep into Cynic, but the stuff I have listened to has been different (in a good way) and inspiring. I am going to have to check them out more in depth. Thanks for the heads up! Usually when I crank early 90's death metal it's Death and Cannibal Corpse.

Enslaved is a pretty heavy album. I'm not too big on some of their stuff, but I like Soulfly in general. Doesn't compare to Sepultura though, that's for sure.

Of course all of the Sepultura albums, but I am really feelin' Chaos A.D. at this moment. I love them all!

Oh, Sleeper- Son of the Morning and Children of Fire. Those are two of my favorite records, and I do not really like that style of music. The songs are extremely well put together, in my opinion. I also love Becoming the Archetype- Dichotomy Good thread
