    Bloodwork - mastered, opinions appreciated

Hi there, and thanks for your replies. I currently got some issues with my internet connection, so I couldn't answer earlier. The guitars are directly recorded on my pc and processed by a Tubescreamer and JCM 900 plugin by simulanalog. This was the easiest solution in the short term and I...

    Bloodwork - mastered, opinions appreciated

Hey there, here's a song of my bands upcoming promo. Since we're considering doing an album on our own, I'd like some comments and suggestions on what to change for future productions. The master might tend to clip here and there, this should be taken care of next time. Thanks in advance...

Who is the best singer in metal?

To keep the list short, here's just a few of my favourites: Russel Allen (of course, SyX wouldn't be the same without him) Phil Anselmo (back in the days of course. Outstanding voice, range and style) Ronnie James Dio (no comment necessary ;))

The Dreamer's Paradox - A Free Prog Album

It sure is very cool. You seem to have put quite some work into this. Everything is very well arranged and programmed. The drums still tend to sound a bit artificial here and there, but I always take a very close listen to that, so I suppose many people won't even recognize the drums being...

    What do I do here?

Hi there! Grrr, I used to record with Zoom Processors a long time ago. Horrible sound for recording guitars. Anyway, the file is in pretty a bad shape and I don't think you will come to a good result there. However I tried to work on it for a little while and by using a 24 band EQ with it...

    Mix question

Thanks for the words so far everybody! @ EtherForBreakfast: Oh, you're right, there is a bit too much sizzle on that. I think it is the ride, looking into that. Thanks for the advice.

quick attempt at a krank type tone

A punchy bass can do wonders i that case. But maybe try adding a few lower mids and a bit of distortion, just alittle though.

    Mix question

Hi there! Here are some riffs that I recorded to try and find a mix for a dropped tuning. What do you think about the mix. Too much or less of anything. I have to mix on an 5.1 DVD Sytem, which isn't very good for mixing purposes, so any thought are appreciated. --->Here's the link<---
