1. Well, depends on if you count as just being on my computer while having sites open as being on the net (since I'll always have something open at work) in that case at least 12 hours, otherwise only about 1-2 hours, since I just flick between things at work.
2. Slashdot, Ultimate Metal & Skylines Australia are the 3 I visit most often atm

I try to avoid it, usually I drink coffee or something but I generally don't eat at the computer unless I'm working.

Online. More accessible, plus it doesn't turn your fingers black.

10 MSN, 88 AIM.

1. 1 - 2 hours?
2. The forum, Dinosaur Comics, and Youtube.
3. All the time! I pretty much live in front of this thing. If it's not surfing the net, it's recording/mixing/practicing/transcribing.
4. Online. It's more current, and it's easier to find a topic and branch off to learn more.
5. 287. Only like 50 are ever online... I need to go through and clean out the people I haven't talked to in years.

Nice idea. I'm in...

1. 3-5 hours surfing, mailing, boarding, webmastering etc.
2. www.musiker-board.de (german musicans forum), www.myspace.com, www.wikipedia.org (have to look things up quite often)
3. sandwiches, cookies and so much more...
4. Newspaper - just has to be a part of a proper morning. I also read th news online though.
5. Don't know, maybe 50. I just use IM very seldom.

1. The whole day, pretty much.

4. Online, as opposed to super big, awkward, and weirdly organized pages.
5. 47, I delete the ones I don't talk to so I have a reasonable number.

1. Depends on the day, but I'd say somewhere near 6 hours a day
2. espn.com, google, and i have this BBC news ticker RSS feed thing that links me to news when I wanna check it out .

1) At home, maybe 2-3 hours, work perhaps 4-5 (we're web based, I can't help it!)

2) www.freakkitchen.com, www.youtube.com, www.keneally.com

4) Online, quick, & up to date, nothing to recycle afterwards...

5) I think 6.....I don't chat via IM that often, most of those are the other mods at the Freak Kitchen Forum...

1. about 5 hours
2. Symphony X site :headbang: , Rotten Tomatoes site, CNN
3. oh no, as a graphics graduate student, if anything happens to my computer, I am royally f***ed
4. online, as one can view the most current news from anywhere at anytime
5. as a grad student, I unfortunately don't have the time for such luxuries :)

1. Selling a Nintendo DS to buy a guitar 2 years ago. OH MAN did I make the smartest move ever. That guitar I bought is gone now, but it did help a lot.
2. Well, it used to be video games, and now it's music.

4. Not much regarding the time of year, although my band will be recording a full demo FINALLY sometime in December.
5. For CHRISTMAS, I want a Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro sound card, so my own recordings will sound much better.
