Mainly because I am happy with most of the bands I listen to in other sub-genres. I'll try out Human Fortress and Tad Morose. Heard the other two, never considered Savatage to be power metal though.

I need some good power metal recommendations. All the stuff I have doesn't excite anymore, except for maybe Hibria. Everything else I just don't want to listen to. I have most of the popular bands, so recommending them won't do me any good.

You might try Scars of Chaos.

This is out of the 5 listen on MA. Out of all that I have heard (the German, Norwegian, and Brazilian), I would have to say: 1487. It basically kicks the shit out of any of the other Witchhammers.

I read the first 3 books of the "Hyperion" series, by Dan Simmons, and rather quickly too. I am now stuck on Rise of Endymion. I just lost the will to read. Not a bad book, it is all internal lack of motivation.

As for Mithotyn, they mix clean and harsh throughout their releases. Some songs are completely harsh, and some are mixed. I cannot recall if any song of theirs is completely clean. I definitely believe Falconer shines in their bonus tracks, which usually aren't in English and are pretty...
