Priest to release a new album in 2014

No. Just releasing a single cd would be better than "Nostradamus". "Prophecy" and "Pestilence and plague". The rest is :waah: I agree with poundingmetal74: production sucks. IMO, their worse stuff, besides "Demolition". I have no hopes with the new one but who knows? Simply curiosity...

Above all, by far: CALADAN BROOD - Echoes of battle (one of the best albums I listened in years) After that: HELL - Curse and chapter ANNEKE VAN GIESBERGEN - Drive PURSON - The Circle and the blue door WITHERSCAPE - The inheritance ALTER BRIDGE - Fortress RAGE WITH LINGUA MORTIS...

LEATHERWOLF set to release ‘Unchained Live’ album

Mmm... I don´t know if this release has sense. Maybe it could have been interesting with the original line-up but... I don´t know if I´d like to listen another studio album. I didn´t like "World asylum" and I prefer to recall Leatherwolf 3 masterpieces.

Whats your favorite extreme metal band from the 80s?

Just anyone names Metal Church and we have to disagree  "Masterpeace" is boring as hell for me. I remember that tour in a sadly way. They played in Madrid and just 90 people in the venue. The band had no chemistry at all. Unfortunately it was the first and last time I saw David Wayne...

    glam metal!

I guess you´re referring to Stop Stop from Barcelona (Spain) isn´t it? I saw them a couple of times. They´re funny but musically speaking I don´t think they´re overwhelming, just OK. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDSfW29FCIY

Whats your favorite extreme metal band from the 80s?

Death (band) album or death metal (genre) album? Death album: Mmm... difficult. It changes from time to time. Probably "Human", basically because it´s the first one I bought from them. A kind of first love maybe Death metal album: Too much. - Monday: Morbid Angel: Altars of madness -...

Whats your favorite extreme metal band from the 80s?

Tons of them if we include thrash. But trying to deal with extreme I have to choose DEATH. 3 albums in the 80´s, 3 masterpieces defining the death metal genre. In the 90´s, 4 albums, 4 masterpiece in prog death.

    Saxon or Diamond Head?

Saxon is the best live band in the world. No doubt about it.

    should bon jovi retire?

IMO, no Sambora no Bon Jovi but I think it has nothing to do with most of the current BJ fans. I saw them 3 months ago in Madrid and it´s fully a "one man band". I consider the rest of the band have 0 charisma on stage. They´re extremely boring. It´s just Jon, Jon and then, Jon. Sambora...

    Hirax Unveils "Immortal Legacy"

:rock::rock: I love "New age of terror" and "El rostro de la muerte", even more than their 80´s albums. In october, they´ll come to Spain again with Flotsam And Jetsam. An excellent package.

    Dan McCafferty Announces Retirement

A pity. Hopefully he´s doing well. I love Narareth. A great, great band. Unfortunately I never had the chance of seeing them live. Once they were announced in Madrid but that tour was cancelled. Nazareth could add Axl Rose to fill Dan shoes. In the end, he has always been a McCafferty rip off.

    New Fates Warning album

What an awful cover!! :guh: "Inside out" or even "No exit" are far better than this. My opinion is, more or less, similar to HamburgerBoy. "FX X" isn´t bad but their weakest album. "Another perfect day" is brilliant. 2 o 3 songs are quite good but we find some filler too. After the superb...

    Old school bassists

Geddy Lee!!!!! Well, he has been said before. A couple more: Doug Keyser from WATCHTOWER. Crazy freak but superb skilled bass player and totally funny live. Keith Menser from MYSTIC FORCE. IMO the perfect bass player for a progressive US metal band.

WHich is betteer.... classic Accept or new Accept ?

I agree with both, SoundMaster and M-KD2. New UDO album is quite good and one of the reason could be that. It´s not so "martial" and modern metal. You got tunes in the vein of old UDO I´d say it´s their best effort since "Mission N.X". I don´k like just one song: "Basta ya". It´s sung in...
