If you ask me they have been done for a long time. I had high hopes of Operation Mind Crime 2. But was majorly let down. Geoff Tates voice even isnt what it once was. So I haven't even bothered with this release.

I agree tottally. It's sad to me to see so many bands that only focus on their look or how complicated parts they can play. I honestly feel prog metal is defined by melody's and powerful lyrics. But when all someone does is noodle all over their guitars than it loses that.
