I saw Bob Dylan live a couple years ago and could barely recognize most of the songs... Highway 61 Revisited was only recognizable when I heard sort of a mumbled, quasi-audible "hawagh sixty wuuunn" for instance. The fact that he really, really, really can't sing at all anymore didn't help, but...

They did that at Wacken. The bass solo was utterly outrageous, Tony is way too good.

I saw Atheist at Wacken '06 in Germany, they were literally the best band of the entire festival. Despite any questionable recent career choices, Tony Choy is a fucking intense bassist.

I don't really care if they're good or not... the mere fact that I'll get to see them kicks a fair amount of ass. And besides, even if they do prove disappointing I still have two days worth of other kickass bands to make up for it. Ahh, Wacken... :D

There's a lot of really good black metal (early Ulver anyone?), but there are also a TON of talentless, generic black metal bands playing the genre only because it's not hard to play. And yes, most die hard black metal fans are unbearably irritating.

The fact that these are the same dreams which produced the song "Interlude 4" makes me seriously question the context in which I hear that song...
