I'm seeing Sonata Arctica sunday with some band that has Symphony X's bass player. I may hit up that In Flames show even though all the support sucks and In Flames will most likely suck I'll have to look into the set list

I wouldn't consider Darkthrone and Suffocation mainstream, stuff like Children of Bodom and Black Dahlia murder would be mainstream and pretty much all of it sucks with the exception of power metal like Kamelot.

Behemoths old stuff was good the new stuff is okay I guess it has its moments. The only thing original about Niles vocals is they (well used to atleast) have three vocalists with different growls. My only problem with them is they tend to reuse material or make stuff that sounds extremely similar.

God I hate Pysopus or whatever the fuck their name is they are located right by me to so I never hear people shut up about them. I don't think anyone has mentioned old Cryptopsy or Old Cephalic Carnage yet their worth checking out.
