in what situation/mood is dt's music most powerful?

i like both of your insights so far. it seems we all have a strong connection between things in our lives and dt's music. i too am always caught in the moment when i see them live as we probably all are and also find that gloomy weather seems to enhance the mood of their music dramatically.

in what situation/mood is dt's music most powerful?

i pose the question because i feel it is an important one. specifically when talking about dt's music as it is more emotional than most metal/thrash style music we might otherwise be subjected to. dt's music is also very epic, dramatic, and powerful in my opinion. but more powerful to some...

What may be DT greatest song

Am I 1? to me very powerful. i love all of dt's material but if they had never written am i 1? i would put a tie between my negation and format c: for cortex.

    Dt at ozzfest 2007

screw ozzfest. no matter how much i like dt i'd never go see them at a bullshit event like that. tickets are like $60 US and you get to sift through a sea of people and never get close to the stage unless you want to be uncomfortable and trampled upon. personally i'd rather drive 5 or 6...

    Aust. Tour end of 2006?

i don't think there is a way that they are losing money on a tour. they get a small % from record sales, touring is one way they can make pretty good money. if they are actually losing money to bring their music around the world to their fans then i am even more impressed with their extreme...

How many of you bought Character...

the songs on exposures are well done. i also like the early demo stuff. it's interesting to hear what they sounded like in the very beginning, and how they formed their style.

What makes you a Dark Tranquillity fan?

the fact that it's one of the only bands in existance that have stayed together for so long and never strayed from doing what they want in music, and not selling out or ever taking in any outside influence to produce. they seem to have a very cool and humble attitude towards their music and...

    San Francisco show 3/12

i know, i could have listened to twice the songs. but eighteen is alot of songs and they only have so much energy, as their in a different venue almost every night. and this one was their own pit stop on the way to san diego. they knew their fans in norcal were hungry for dt. if they do a...

    San Francisco show 3/12

i agree with all of you guys. the show was definitely fucking awsome. even though they played 18 songs i just wanted more. their energy was just spectacular. they opened up with "the wonders at your feet". great opening song, everybody cheered. i was expecting the place to be more packed...
