you're nuts, man. USA Jacksons are nice and all (USA only that is - $2000 and up), the rest are crappy bolt-on shit fiddles and good luck keeping that neck lined up. My custom ESP Horizon beats ANY Jackson I've ever owned, even my old Soloist.

If you want a decent bass for playing metal, get a Warwick or even a Spector. Some better SoundGears are ok too. But if you're willing to spend some bucks, I'd recommend a Modulus hands down. ///////////////////////////////////////// I disagree completely.

He was an awesome drummer and a really cool guy. To see a person with such potential go at such an early age is truly fucking tragic. My regards to his family, band members, and friends.

All that "Varg" shit is ridiculous to me at this point. I can see how a 19-20year old "xtrasupetkvlt" geek could be enthralled by that whole bullshit "saga", but in all reality - Varg was a productive, creative kid who had a bad relationship with his military stepfather (hence the delinquency)...
