I was wondering if any one knows if there is some metal full Pro Tools sessions inc wav files for download somewhere? For mix inspiration and training Maybe some what to share a track for others to look at? Maybe only 60 seconds of the track so the file dont get to big.

Tracking in one big session, start mixing the big picture and make the overall start mixing, edits/samples there. Then spilt out to separated sessions for mixing. Leaving the regions/markers where they wore tracked. If its only a small EP I might not split up later and use automation. I...

I have found it great to blend the trigger signal with the snare and toms to really lighten up the attack in the highs. But my triggers are not sounding clean anymore Can anyone post some trigger samples for snare and all toms hits? That would be great

Love the sound on the 7170, missing some lowend compared to the real 6505 but nice. Du you mind sharing the drive, power amp and other eq settings on the 7170 ?
