Well...just from personal experience, the newest stuff always sounds better to the band than the older stuff. You tend to progress the more you write, so you want your newer stuff to be showcased first. I know I don't want something we've been playing for two years to be first on the album if...

Well, that sucks because I was really looking forward to the next one. Hopefully the new Mercenary will make up for it.

They were playing "Paralyzed" throughout their 2004 dates. I'm guessing the other songs came later, which are a bit more technical. Most bands would probably want to put the oldest "new" song last, if that makes any sense. Plus, it makes a good closer for this CD.

That's a really well written and detailed review. But you could have just skipped the "Nobody counts Dean Sternberg, seriously" comment by just not mentioning it at all. Not a huge deal, but it kind of sucked to see that.

Love can make you do irrational things. I was missing a loved one on a tour once, although picking up and leaving in the middle of it never would have crossed my mind. I look back on it now and feel like an ass because I could have had a lot more fun if I hadn't let it get to me. Lesson...

Our bassist does that sometimes. He also plays an Eric Clapton tune--does the guitar melody lines and bass parts by tapping out chords while doing the bass lines over the neck. The guy's pretty sick.

Wow. Listened to it this morning and the chorus was stuck in my head all day. Amazing work guys. Any chance of posting the lyrics to that?

Sorry, I posted a thread about the Blabbermouth thing before I saw these posts. Guees y'all already know. Blabbermouth really need to exercise some self control. I used to be a journalist--you don't put something out based on a few quotes and assumptions or without concrete sources. Asshats.

Sounds good. Some killer long-tones there. This guy was great with Power Of Omens. He's going to fit in well with Zero Hour.
