OUTWORLD AND MINDFLOW TO HEADLINE TEXAS MADFEST

Texas Madfest, a two-day Metal festival in Houston, proudly welcomes Replica recording artist Outworld and Brazilian progressive metal band Mindflow to headline the event on July 13th and 14th, 2007 at FBI Rocks #1 in Houston, TX. A very special evening is planned by both bands, especially Mindflow who will play their debut show in the USA.

"We are very honored to be a part of Texas Madfest. Our first concert ever on North American soil couldn't be at a better occasion," said Rodrigo Hidalgo (guitars). "We're coming all the way from Brazil and you can be sure we're preparing a very special concert for such a special event! Be prepared to let your mind flow at our show!" Mindflow has released two albums to date, both having received maximum scores in many reviews worldwide. The band has performed at renowned festivals across the world, such as Brazil's Live 'N Louder festival.

Outworld's highly anticipated return to the stage features a USA debut performance from their new vocalist Carlos Zema, also from Brazil. The band promises to melt the stage and stun the audience playing songs from their self-titled debut CD released on Replica Records. "I cannot wait to finally perform with Outworld, and it looks like this fest will be a lot of fun!" said Zema about the show. Outworld will be closing the show on friday, and Mindflow on saturday.

Texas Madfest will also feature the performances of Krucible, Meyvn, Dark Empire, Magistral, Prymary, Six Minute Century and Eternity Black. Ticket information will be announced soon, as well as more details on the event.

"I am proud of this line-up and I know this event will be just the first of many Texas Madfest events to come," said John Cheek, coordinator of the event. "This is not our festival, but the people's festival. It belongs to everyone in our metal scene and I guarantee that everyone will enjoy it."

couldn't have been stated any more true than that. Thanks to John and Tammy for working so diligently at putting this together. I can't wait to experience Texas Madfest for myself! And it will be great seeing not only the great bands involved, but so many of the ProgPower friends I've made through the years here in Atlanta! :tickled:

THE KILT IS COMING TO HOUSTON!!! :heh:

Well here it is guys and gals. I truly hope that this is up to everyone's expectations and wants. As i stated this is your festival, i just happen to be one of the ones putting it together, it has been hard at times, yet fulfilling. it has been stressfull, yet relaxing and fun. Now all there is to do is to make sure everyone has a great time and enjoys themselves.

Oh Yeah, I am now a fully recognized and registered company. The name of the company is "DREAMCATCHER PRODUCTIONS and PROMOTIONS", i caught my dream, and now it is a reality.
Thanks to everyone who has given advise, who has supported us in this endeavor and dream. We Owe you one.

You people have any idea how expensive it already is for me to catch up on all these CD's??? I've gotta get READY, man! I wanna be singing along with EVERY lyric possible!

Lucky for you most of these bands have a small discography =D

It looks like a solid fest !! I'm not going to be able to make it ths year ... My Powerfest, Wacken, and Prog Power trips were already in the works prior to the culmination of the Madfest roster. I hope you guys do well .. I'd really be interested in attending next year.

Well I guess we just have to wait and see who is announced for Powerfest last unless it is someething really great, MADFEST HERE I COME!!

Who knew that my PPUSA VII roomies would be heading up such a fantastic festival of their own less than a year later!?!?!? :D

These headliners only add more greatness on top of a mountain of existing greatness! A well deservered and heartfelt "Congratulations" to you both, Tammy & John!

:OMG:Holy shit.

Did not expect Mindflow at all.

If I wasn't a broke ass 17 year old, I would be there in a heartbeat, based on the Mindflow announcement alone.
