'06 vs. '07 - Better Year for Metal?

OK it's time to decide whether this year has surpassed last year in terms of superior output by the world metal scene, or that last year's glory failed to be eclipsed by this year's competition.

Personally, it's a close call, but I think '06 edges out '07. '06 brought us great releases by Summoning, Satyricon, Nachtmystium, Melechesh, Darkthrone and Anaal Nathrakh, and my personal favorite of '06, Aborym's Generator, has not been topped by anything released this year.

So in retrospect, which year takes the cake?

07 for me. 06 had a bunch of good releases as well, but 07 has had so many good brutal death releases as well as solid releases from other genres.
