1 month in (or whatever) how do you feel about the final frontier?

I started listening to the album again today when I was out and about..
I've got to say (sadly) there's not a lot going on that makes me want to listen again and again. Half-way through Isle Of Avalon I was happy to unplug the headphones..

have'nt really played it except for the 1st week I brought it ... Bruce's vocals are pretty ordinary IMO

I think the vocals are ok - just there are too many of them!
Some verses seem too long. Shut-up already.

The longer songs seem short, and the shorter ones seem really long. Sometimes Bruce does sound like he's trying a bit too hard. The solos are fucking awesome though, and I do quite like some of the songs rather a lot.

I tend to blame Steve for making alot of their songs too wordy. Still, I enjoy.

I really enjoy the musical passages in this album, the progness is so awesome IMO. Haven't actually listened to it in the last few days, a couple of albums are rocking my cake now

Yeah the music itself is fantastic in some songs.

I haven't been able to afford an album since January, but this is the next one I get when the time comes.

Listening to it again now. Second run through Bruce doesn't sound quite as annoying. Gotta say though that the music and arrangements are some of the best they've ever done.

at first i didn't like this one all that much but now it is rocking my world like a hurricane.

the 2nd half is certainly better and the band shows more of their technical side
like this slightly Prog-ish Maiden

Yeah I love the last two thirds although the whole thing is great.

That is what I love about Maiden, every fan has different opinions on what is their best material etc. I really enjoy the prog of the second half, but love the first three tracks.

Have had a break from the album for a couple of months but listened to it twice back to back today and really enjoyed it. I liked The Alchemist, The Talisman and Where The Wild Wind Blows much more than I had previously. Awesome!
