11 guests wtf??

circus_brimstone sent me like four or five albums. i tried "the principle of evil made flesh" for like 30 seconds and tossed it the FUCK out of the player. christ they're fucking terrible, even back when some people try to claim they were still "good"

Dusk... And Her Embrace is a perfectly okay album, if you don't realize there's a lot better stuff around (read: I really enjoyed it 6 years ago, today not so much).

I still have the poster in my bedroom though, but only because it looks cool.

I wouldn't say they are good, they just aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be.

But apparently ripping off Cradle of Filth is the cool thing to do.

worse, in fact

i don't think i've ever heard such meandering, completely untalented, image-based fucking tripe in my entire life

Are you serious? They are one band that perfectly lives up to how shitty everyone thinks they are.

People rip on Dimmu just as much these days, but stormblast killed, etc etc. Cradle never was, or will be, good.

people, if he enjoys one fucking cd, let him enjoy it. For Christ sake, everyone thinks the same way on this forum (read everyone thinks like Erik) and it gets fucking annoying. Get your own personnality goddamnit.

yeah, i think we are a fairly diverse group here. i mean, gugs and i have disgreed TWICE. TWICE i tell you

I'm more open-minded than most around here, I'll fucking tell you what.
HAHAHAHAHA oh man that rules on several levels:

1) Because "gugs" and "open-minded" don't exactly go together.

and

2) Well, he's right. :dopey:

Cradle of Filth > Dimmu Borgir

Because "Dusk..." slays anything in the DB catalogue, including "Stormblast".

I just lost my credibility. :p

there can be no distaste, only narrow minds suppressing diversity

That sounds like a pitch towards all the people who oppose Brokeback Mountain.

Enlighten minds suppressing mediocrity is more like it.

Holy fuck I'm still cringing from listening to cradle of faggotry years ago. One of the first bands I came across.

Seriously, why would anyone even waste their time listening to music they consider "not good, but not bad?". Wouldn't it be more sensible to listen to what you would deem "good"?
