2-track editor for mac

I've used soundforge for a decade on PC and I need something comparable for my mac. Any reccomendations?

Me too. There seems to be a hole in the market. Is everyone really doing their 1 and 2-track editing on PC? Steinberg doesn't even make wavelab for mac. I don't get it.

How come you guys like a separate DAW (if that's what it's even considered) for your two-track work? And what exactly is involved in "two-track work?"

I use Soundstudio since 2001.

It's cheap and it works very well.

Peak is excellent and should do anything that you can do on Sound Forge. I don't use it these days because I do all my work inside Pro Tools, start to finish.

I use PT for all of my multitrack stuff but for cutting samples, editing dialog, or doing quick edits for multimedia nothing beats the speed of a basic editor.
