Are y'all still satisfied with your top 10/25 lists of 2004 , or have you been exposed to some fine 2004 records in 2005, that you feel should have made your lists?

Here's the list I posted January 8th:

01. 1349 - Beyond The Apocalypse
02. Malevolent Creation - Warkult
03. Finntroll - Nattfödd
04. Incantation - Decimate Christendom
05. Behexen - By The Blessing Of Satan
06. Suffocation - Souls To Deny
07. Monstrosity - Rise To Power
08. Insision - Revealed And Worshipped
09. Behemoth - Demigod
10. Brodequin - Methods Of Execution
11. Vomitory - Primal Massacre
12. Borknagar - Epic
13. Vader - The Beast
14. Darkthrone - Sardonic Wrath
15. Enslaved - Isa
16. Visceral Bleeding - Transcend Into Ferocity
17. Cattle Decapitation - Humanure
18. Sinners Bleed - From Womb To Tomb
19. Liturgy - Dawn Of Ash
20. Dies Irae - Sculpture Of Stone
21. Cannibal Corpse - The Wretched Spawn
22. Leviathan - Tentacles Of Whorror
23. Deathspell Omega - Si Monvmentvm Reqvires, Circvmspice
24. Drudkh - Autumn Aurora
25. Nattefrost - Blood And Vomit

I'd probably put Tsjuder's "Desert Northern Hell" around Enslaved's "Isa", and Vreid's "Kraft" around 20th place. Hatesphere's "Ballet Of The Brute" would also have made my list.

1.Isis - Panopticon
2.Deathspell Omega - Si Monvmentvm Reqvires, Circvmspice
3.Lunar Aurora - Zyklus
4.Orphaned Land - Mabool
5.The Ocean - Fluxion
6.Dirge - And Shall the Sky Descend
7.Void of Silence - Human Antithesis
8.Cult of Luna - Salvation
9.Mar de Grises - The Tatterdemalion Express
10.Predella Avant - Carbon Figures
Extra : Harmaa - airut:aamujen

I'm still pretty happy with mine overall.

EDIT: Orphaned Land would have been in my Top 10 had I heard it in time, but I'm not going to kick myself over albums I didn't hear that year. Can't think of much else.

Isis, DEP, and Meshuggah need to be on my top 10 list. 2004 didn't have the lasting effect that 2003 had, but still had some very good stuff that came out.

I'm very satisfied with my list (plus it's only been 3 months -- maybe bump this thread in November or something, heh).

I will say that Pagan Altar's "Lords of Hypocrisy" would certainly have made the top 10 list, knocking out Runemagick I suppose.

1. Fates Warning - FWX
2. Orphaned Land - Mabool
3. Wastefall - Soulrain 21
4. Colour Haze - s/t
5. The Hidden Hand - Mother Teacher Destroyer
6. Ayreon - The Human Equation
7. Ufomammut - Snailking
8. Mastodon - Leviathan
9. Neurosis - The Eye Of Every Storm
10. Lamented Souls - The Origins Of Misery
2 "honorable mentions" that could be in the top 10:
Witchraft - s/t
Isis - Panopticon
---
Nah, it doesnt need any change. There are albums that could be in it, and they arent, but then again i wouldnt feel like taking something out of the list. Age Of Silence's "Acceleration" could have a place in the list, as also Rammstein's "Reise Reise", Inner Wish - "Silent Faces", New Eden - "Stagnant Progression", Monster Magnet - "Monolithic Baby", Yob - "Illusion Of Motion" and The Earthbound - "Brotherhood Of The Dog".

Oh yea! I know im probably the only person in here who likes em. I really wanna hear their new album .. people say its better than "Reise Reise".
ON TOPIC
I forgot the one album that could be on top of all of 2004, the MASTERPIECE called "REIGNING MEMORIES" by ION VEIN. This is the BEST POWER METAL ALBUM SINCE "INTO THE MIRROR BLACK" (with the exception of "Land Of The Free"). - But i wont add it on the list, because it was officialy released this year, it was self financed until then.

More details please and some comparisons if possible. Also, where can I purchase it?

Rammstein "Techno metal" hah? mmmboing etc
Anyway Rammstein are so popular because they are catchy, simple as that. Their songs can be very heavy, very melodic, simple or complex, but they hit you at once. Also their videoclips are amazing.
