2005 Graveland LP - Samples here

It's encouraging. There's certain different stylistic elements while sticking to the good old Graveland signature sound, and it sounds rather effective to me. Like all his stuff, I figure it'll sound a lot better when in context to a full album obviously.

To me, he's totally nailed the concept of putting together arrangments in the perfect place with "Dawn of the Iron Blades". These fragments sound awesome, and it will be a highly enjoyabe continuation of "Dawn...".

Wow, I'm actually quite blown away by this. The Dawn of Iron Blades track gave me a mixed reaction, but these samples are very very promising, particularly in what seems to be a return to some of the melodic structures of Thousand Swords-era Graveland.

I have "The Dawn of Iron Blades" on mp3, and it's pretty darn good methinks. It's in the vein of "The Fire of Awakening" with dashes of their other material, but has a bit more focus than "...Awakening" in that it manages to be just as epic but more concise. This one has the potential to be even better.

I have all the songs on the CD in mp3. It is a good CD. It is a combination of more recent Graveland and earlier Graveland. The production and mixing is good, which makes it all the better. The guitar sound on a few of the older Graveland CDs was too thin for my taste, and the guitar too low in the mix.

Nah, I've heard enough to know I'll get it, I very rarely listen to samples/preview tracks more than once and they only have use to me as a pointer.
