here's a metal death no one will be talking about:

Mariusz "Szczery" Szczerski, vocalist of HONOR and our friend departed from our world a short time ago.
He was seriously injured in a car accident. A passenger car he traveled as a passenger and a delivery track crashed. Szczery died after days of fight for life without regaining consciousness on the 3th of August 2005. Szczery died but He left us His artistic work, deep and proud lyrics, and His voice - voice of blood and soul of a White Man. I had an opportunity to work with Him on Graveland/Honor split „Raiders of Revenge”

I've very fond memories of my cooperation with HONOR. I must admit that Szczery's work as a vocalist inspired me to record Graveland albums in Polish. I had an opportunity to observe His work in recording studio, His work with lyrics and music and I have changed my attitude towards Graveland lyrics. In the past I used to treat my lyrics without proper attention focusing only on music. Thanks to Szczery I know that lyrics are very important part of my albums.

The result of our cooperation - split „Raiders of Revenge” was a great event that caused us many problems... I think you know that story...

Szczery died loyal to the ideas till the end...He died full of pride and honor. He never gave up in His fight against the system that wanted to enslave Him...He will not have to knock to the Valhalla gates...The gates were open for Him long time ago....
