I had 4 of the 8 - not bad... I thought Serenity Painted Death would do much better, and I didn't realize so many people liked Bleak. Oh well.

Orchid and Morningrise have officially been ousted (along with Damnation in the previous round). In a way that's too bad, but I think it was to be expected. Most of the people voting here are not lifelong fans, but like myself, from the PBP era (post-Blackwater Park). I love the songs on both albums (I was especially impressed with Morningrise's performance in this poll), but I suppose I will always enjoy the newer songs a little bit more.

Well, 4 of my original 8 made it. And none of them are in the same match-up! Easy, you may think, but I am in fact changing my allegiance in the Mendez bracket. I had to listen to the two songs back to back and.... Demon Of The Fall has to take my vote. Just.

I reckon after this round, only one of my original choices will remain. I can see Deliverance and Ghost Of Perdition being upset, and I'd almost bet money on The Moor upsetting When. But you never know...

I still think Bleak will win. Whether or not it has my vote is another question, the answer to which I haven't yet decided...
