Take this quiz to find out which candidate you share the most views with.

My results:
1. Ron Paul
2. Mike Gravel
3. Dennis Kucinich

Obviously since he was number one, I apparently agreed with Ron Paul on most things, namely Iraq, immigration, and healthcare.

I don't know how this thread will turn out, but hopefully it'll remain civil without a bunch of unecessary attacks and whatnot.

Chris Dodd.
Joseph Biden.
Hillary Clinton.

I don't really follow politics. Almost not at all, really (I've never heard of the first two). So I just answered the questions as honestly as I could, even if I hadn't really thought much about it before hand, and so I'm sure if I was more educated on some things my answers may be different.

Ron Paul
Mike Gravel
Dennis Kuchinich

I wasn't sure what I'd get since I really dont give a shit about the immigration issue and really wouldnt mind illegal immigrants staying here, we all had immigrants to America after all, unless youre Native American.

^Well, I don't see why everybody doesnt want them in America so bad and people constantly preach beefing border security, they just wanted a new place to live, so why not? Edit: At Mathias

Do it legally then.

Go look up the bureacratic BS a person has to go through to do it legally... it is as worst as our tax code... and for potentional immigrants who want a better life here and want to do it legally but do not have a family member or job to sponsor them are shit out of luck... does that sound fair? ... yet americans want carte blanche of no restrictions when it comes to traveling to other countries...

What quiz said about me:

1. Joe Biden
2. Hillary Clinton
3. Chris Dodd

There is a difference between traveling and living in a country illegally. If they want to tour the US more power to 'em. But you can't live here and be exempt from the taxes, etc.

1. Kucinich
2. Gavel
3. Richardson

As much as I'd love to vote for Kucinich I am voting Hillary because at heart I am pragmatic and she has a chance. I am more liberal than any candidate though. My perfect candidate would be irreligious, create national healthcare like Canada, legalize and tax drugs, reform the education and criminal justice systems, but that will never ever happen :(.

I originally liked Ron Paul, but besides foreign policy I find him foolish. Abortion needs to stay legal, and home schooling is not something I view as a good thing. I also think it's foolish to lower taxes when we can't even pay for our current expenses.

If you mean income taxes and related taxes. Yes you are right but that is a issue with the employers who employ them and do not take out the taxes. But they do pay other taxes in other areas such as sales tax, taxes on utilities, etc. but if you gave them a incentive such as legal residence and/or citizenship if they comply with legal employment, getting health insurance, paying taxes etc. they would do it in a heart beat... this is not a issue about immigrants not paying their taxes... this is a issue about not wanting the new minority group into this country regardless of legal status... they can do it legally all you want and people in this country will still be bitching about immigration, even legal immigration... this is similar to anti-immigration sentiments that happened to jews, italians, irish, chinese etc. in the late 19th to early 20th centuries... back then it was wop, kike, chink etc... nowadays it is beaner, spic etc. is said from narrow minded people...

Let's be honest.. if your job/boss said he would pay you under the table and you do not have to pay taxes... what would you say? ... I for one would say yes to him/her because this country is fucked up when it comes to taxes... I don't think any other country in the world has so many different taxes for everything and so favored for one class over another... it is ironic that one reason for the American Revolution was because of taxation without representation from the British and 200 + years later we tax on everything including everytime you take a crap and flush the toilet which is where my hard earned money goes when i get taxed...
