Here's a 1,000 word article I wrote a few weeks ago when I couldn't sleep owing to a lung infection and fear of Obama's ravenous supporters. It may have some significance for the next few days.
Obama's Game Plan: Total Victory or Scorched Earth?
Will Obama's Victory Spare America From Kenya's Nightmare?
Whenever radio talk show hosts such as Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh repeatedly hammered Senator Barack Obama's ties to the race-baiter Reverend Jeremiah Wright, veteran domestic terrorist William Ayres, and even communist pornographer Frank Marshall Davis, I tended to shut my ears. Granted, receiving one's political training from an-edge-of-society bunch like that is definitely not a mainstream American experience. It was a Chicago experience, however, and I preferred to leave it at that.
Until the afternoon of October 8th, when author Jerome Corsi was interviewed about his temporary arrest and expulsion from Kenya. From that point on, I became convinced that Senator Obama's whole life has been leading up to either victory in the presidential election, or an unspeakable reign of terror in the streets of every major U.S. city.
Is it possible that Senator Obama is encouraging "total victory or scorched earth"?
Jerome Corsi wrote the best-selling expose "Obama Nation" and was researching supplemental material for Chapter 4, which describes Senator Obama's intimate ties to political candidates in Kenya, specifically Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who apparently sought Obama's advice on running his presidential campaign in fall 2007.
Corsi states he has emails and other correspondence between Obama's office and Odinga. He was able to acquire these from former members of Odinga's campaign. These men broke away from Odinga after he signed a "treaty of understanding" with more radical Islamic elements in Kenya.
Now, following this defection of his advisors in December 2007, Odinga was narrowly defeated in the election. He was not content with the demographics of the voters, as opposition tribes and Christians voted en masse against Odinga for his promise to enact Islamic sharia law in Kenya if elected.
The result? Odinga rallied his Lua tribe and marshaled the radical Islamic factions into violent retribution against his opponents that bordered on civil war. Between December 2007 and February 2008, when a U.N. brokered deal ended the violence, more than 800 churches were burned, 1,150 people were murdered in street riots, and it appeared the whole country would collapse into anarchy. One gruesome episode involved 50 villagers, including women and children, being herded into a church which was then burnt down.
All this, because Prime Minister Raila Odinga said he wanted to be president, and convinced his supporters that his rival President Kibaki had rigged the elections to retain power.
Corsi states that the Obama campaign was in contact with Odinga before and during the very worst period of civil violence. Corsi cites financial aid from Senator Obama to Odinga to the tune of half a million dollars, as well as the deal for implementing Sharia law in Kenya, as evidence of Obama's affection for Islam and radical political figures.
It would appear that Odinga was reacting to his election defeat in the manner of radical 1960s anarchists and social revolutionaries, such as Obama's mentor, William Ayres: terrify the powers-that-be with an upwelling from below.
In Kenya, the result of Obama's mentors' philosophy was thousands of injured and killed.
The question is, what would happen in the United States if, by some chance, Republican candidate John McCain became president under circumstances similar to the 2000 election?
Senator Obama was trained by the radicals of 1960s, and 2008’s aging baby-boomer population has the summer of 1968 on their minds. It was 40 years ago that black smoke hung over most American cities. A great deal of older yet angrier voters may look back at 1968 with more nostalgia than dread.
Of course, elderly hippies would not be the ones rallied to the standard of a "Stolen election." That would be left to the 96 percent of the African American electoral expected to cast a vote for Obama.
Under the nimbus of a failing economy, the unemployed of Detroit and Chicago, the foreclosed of Cleveland and Pittsburgh, the disenchanted of St. Louis and Washington, the racially antagonized of Fort Worth and Los Angeles, and the hopeless of Philadelphia and Atlanta all have an emotional stake in Obama's victory—and an axe to grind if someone convinces them that mistrustful Republicans stole the election from their candidate.
The threat from possibly outraged Obama supporters is becoming surprisingly mainstream. Noted Clinton attack dog James Carville topped his analysis of the October 7th presidential debate with confidence in Obama's victory, as well as a stern warning of rioting in the streets should the GOP attempt to steal the election. Similarly, noted Democrat hack Paul Begala echoed Carville's sentiments with the chilling warning that Democrats would not be held responsible for any civil unrest following a McCain upset.
It is likely that the Bush administration is taking the threat seriously. According to the Army Times of September 30th, "The 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team has spent 35 of the last 60 months in Iraq patrolling in full battle rattle, helping restore essential services and escorting supply convoys. Beginning Oct. 1 for 12 months, the 1st BCT will be under the day-to-day control of U.S. Army North, the Army service component of Northern Command, as an on-call federal response force for natural or manmade emergencies and disasters, including terrorist attacks."
It may be that the Bush administration foresees bank riots as a result of the collapsing economy. Or, as some assert, they've arrived one month before a contentious election to be on hand in case of the almost too-close-to-call defeat of a presidential candidate groomed in the fine art of domestic terrorism, civil unrest, and racial antagonism.
Reverend James David Manning from Harlem likens Senator Obama to "an emissary of the devil," and predicted there would be "a whole lot of crying, a lot of hand-wringing, and a lot of coffee drinking" if Obama's defeated. If only the fiery Harlem Baptist minister's prediction was the limit of what Obama's emotionally charged supporters are capable of.
In conclusion, the sort of economic woes Main Street America now faces as a result of Wall Street's pyramid scheme will seem quite tame compared to every American city being torched from within by angry Obama supporters. With every transportation hub and financial center shut down and thrown into chaos, October’s thousand point dip in the Dow Industrial Average is meaningless. Obama's defeat on November 4th, 2008, promises a global financial catastrophe as the United States envelopes itself in the acrid pall of race riots.
The summer of '68 is beginning to look good.
Yep! Nothing like a little optimism on the big day, eh?
