Adrian, are you up for this bro bro? It falls on a Saturday and is less than 5 miles from my chateau of daaaaaaath. We can get blitzed royally pre-event.
Oops I missed this, I have a gig that afternoon and two parties that night. Of course I don't really like Watain enough to see them live, but the rest of that plan would be glorious! Alas.

Hey Nad, what are you doing on November 8th pimpin?

Subrosa @ Complex in stank Armoville California. $5 entry, good beer selection.
I don't know Subrosa, but I have this marked on the calendar nonetheless! Saturday is more likely for us to do an LA trip, but I'll put this one as a Possibly Maybe.

Oh yeah I'm almost certainly hitting up Enslaved next year, probably roll with some friends. We should beer.

I'll be going to the gig on Friday. Probably not going to drink a whole hell of a lot given the location of the venue. Cops will pull you over for jaywalking in Glendale.

Neal, was this you?

"Salt Lake City's own Subrosa were robbed in Sacramento, CA on Monday night, November 4, 2013 before the planned second night of their tour with Samothrace. In addition to their vandalized tour van, they had 2 violins, several electric guitars, a bass guitar, and a gear bag containing the band's tour money and personal belongings ALL stolen in the process. Although we can never replace the emotional & sentimental worth attached to these instruments, WE CAN help raise money for suitable replacements in an attempt to ultimately raise their downtrodden spirits, so these inspiring women and men can continue forward with their most heart-driven passion of all: sharing their music with those that appreciate their amazing ability to create beautiful, thought-provoking music."

Man. Am I the only one who hates it when a band's music is hailed as "thought provoking"? It's not as bad as "haunting," but still....

GODFUCKINGDAMNITALLTOHELL!!!!!!

So, Dysrhythmia and Zevious are on an East Coast tour and I looked over the dates a few times but failed to see any on the RI/MA area. Well, I just noticed that they are playing in Revere, MA (a tad over an hour away) on Saturday night. There's no way I can make it on such short notice unless I tell my wife and take off all by myself on Saturday which isn't gonna happen.
