went to the show last night in oakland. they both have parts that go on a little too long sometimes but overall good stuff. have some beers and a homemade cigarette and zone out to some hypnotic samothrace basslines.

I'll be going to the gig on Friday. Probably not going to drink a whole hell of a lot given the location of the venue. Cops will pull you over for jaywalking in Glendale.

Man. Am I the only one who hates it when a band's music is hailed as "thought provoking"? It's not as bad as "haunting," but still....

So, Dysrhythmia and Zevious are on an East Coast tour and I looked over the dates a few times but failed to see any on the RI/MA area. Well, I just noticed that they are playing in Revere, MA (a tad over an hour away) on Saturday night. There's no way I can make it on such short notice unless I tell my wife and take off all by myself on Saturday which isn't gonna happen.
