I saw a single mum a few days ago swearing at her child, shouting "get the fu*k over here now!". None of the other parents were saying anything but when my friend was swearing on the bus around children, they were all saying things like "don't swear around children". Interesting.

Single mums also smoke around their children and smoke while they're pushing their prams and that isn't a criticism.

In a welfare society, children are often just a means to a paycheck for the "mum". Why treat them well? Their existence brings a paycheck, but it also requires expense and "ruins their fun". If you perceived your children as a "necessary evil", you would probably be a shitty parent.

You might have a point if a woman smokes indoors with her kid around but saying that she is unworthy of life for ever smoking near her kid is just discrimination. The incidence of Respiratory diseases (i.e asthma) is far higher in urban areas than rural areas and evidence has suggested that pollution is to blame but you wouldn't say a woman who drives a car around her kid/brings a child up in a city should be killed when they are more harmful than smoking around them outdoors.

Maybe that was a bad example but all I am trying to illustrate is that society is racist against smokers and believe that smokers are an inferior species unworthy of reproduction (Eugenics)
