$5 Mixing and Mastering

Do little kids selling hot dogs in shacks pose a threat to great restaurants?

Selling yourself short and pulling prices down is of course a serious problem in any profession, but this is just ridiculous. In my experience the guys who are most vocal about these things, are people who really don't have much if any more to offer than the guy pulling down the vages.

So... you take tips, right?

1. Track song for £250 a track.
2. Outsource to this guy and only do half the work whilst spending £3.
3. ???
4. Profit?

I think you guys do not understand the concept of this website called fiverr. 5$ is just a starting price. For example you will get only 30s of your song for that amount. For another 30s you have to pay another 5 or 10 or whatever. You have to pay extra for editing or pitch correction or whatever. So in reality its not so far away price-wise from the "standard" rates. Yeah I know its pretty stupid but that's how it works. It all depends on what you get with these additional payments, I would suggest just contacting the OP to get the whole idea.

This is something you should have not said.

Sorry quoting is fucked up on my phone, but this is not even remotely accurate. I charge far more than $5 per 30 seconds of audio. So no that is not close to "standard rates".

OK, I just described you how this website works. It is a starting point, an eye catcher if you like. Dont beat me up, I just wrote what I know about fiverr and thats it :) .
