5150 Clip - Original Riffs

I was bored and figured I would record something, so I just threw this clip together. Didn't really mess with mic placement or settings at all, I'd rather know what you guys think of the riffs, but any comments are welcome.

sounds cool, what were the amp settings? the riff reminds me of old in flames. i like the riff, i'd like to hear it with drums and bass.

Everything sounds panned halfway to the left - pan the rhythm gats 100% L/R and the melody gats in more, and it'd be easier to hear everything.

I do dig the overall structure of the tone, though. The riffs do sound good, like old In Flames, definitely.

On the OD808 I had the gain on 0, volume dimed, tone on about 9 o'clock.

Haha! Yeah, I was too lazy to find my headphones, so I had the click volume up pretty loud.

I panned the rhythms hard left and right, and the melodies about 70% left and right. It would have sounded better if I spent more than 10 seconds with mic placement and amp settings.

I think it need alot more bite. It sounds more like a lead tone to me than a rhytm tone.
