Silvertide's with them?! Very cool!! I wish they had been with them a few months back when I saw Crue. Let us know how they are Six.

Have fun at the show!

Fuck yeah, that's right. All the time traveling that I have been doing has made my mind to mush! And Greeno, I will fill you in on the Silvertide set! Unfortunatley, there will also be Blink 41 on the bill & this band called The Exies?! Never heard of these Exies, but I do know that they took their name from some phrase John Lennon used in an interview or some shit...

Here's the press release I just got for Silvertide...
SILVERTIDE JOINS MÖTLEY CRÜE "CARNIVAL OF

SINS" SIDE SHOW

Hot Up-and Coming Rock Newcomers SILVERTIDE Added for

Dates Starting July 26 through Aug. 27

LOS ANGELES — What can you add to Mötley Crüe’s traveling freak show, the newly dubbed "Carnival of Sins," that would top a flame-spewing little person, aerialists, clowns, acrobats, exotic dancers, a flying drum kit and explosive pyrotechnics, which have helped dub the "Red, White & Crüe" tour "The Loudest Show on Earth"?

J Records rockers Silvertide are the latest members of the Crüe’s scorched-earth world tour, joining fellow special guests Island/IDJ’s Sum 41 and Virgin Records’ The Exies on the just-announced leg that begins July 26 at Irvine at Verizon Wireless Ampphitheatre and runs through August 27 in Chicago.

Silvertide released their major-label debut, Show and Tell, last June on J Records. These natives of northeast Philadelphia’s working-class are unabashed classic-rockers, with a bluesy, gritty sound influenced in equal parts by the Stones, the Who, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, the Faces, Guns N’ Roses and Aerosmith, who the band actually opened for when Steve Tyler and company played their home town. The fivesome—lead singer Walt Lafty, guitarist Nick Perri, rhythm guitarist Mark Melchiorre, who also plays banjo and sitar, drummer Kevin Frank and bassist Brian Weaver—formed while still in high school, with their adulation of ’60s, ’70s and ’80s hard rock causing a stir on the local club circuit.

"By the end Nick is playing a solo like Slash on a cliff top, Walt is rock-climbing the PA and the whole place is a throbbing mess, sent insane by the most audacious teenage rewiring of rock since Guns N’ Roses. Somewhere, Justin Hawkins wakes up in a cold sweat: he knows Silvertide are coming for him. This ain’t rock. It’s marble."

The year’s hottest rock & roll tour just got hotter.

I will be on the guest list & will get a chance to meet Silvertide.
Kinda cool. Looks like I will have a chance to meet the boys from Nevermore on Gigantour too... Sweet.
Unfortunately I have two extra Crue tickets now...

When I went and saw the Crue a couple o' months back they didn't have anyone opening for them. They were shooting fooage for a dvd theat is going to be released later. They played a great show and played long time. They played a very full set along with tommy flying through the air to solo on 3 diiferent drum kits. It was a wild show and i had a great time. hope they put on a comparable show for ya sixx!

this just in...
MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee revealed during an appearance on the "Rockline" syndicated radio show earlier this week that the CRÜE will support THE ROLLING STONES at four shows late summer/early fall. Among the cities tentatively scheduled to feature the CRÜE are Chicago, Portland and Seattle. No further information is currently available.
