7-String guitar question.

What would you people reccomend for a 7-string at a reasonable (pretty low actually) price? Is it even worth buying a cheap one?

I'm wondering what the reason for the $700 reduced price on that one is... are those guitars pretty much crap?

Ibanez RG1527. $~900 US. Worth it.

i have a schecter c7 hellraiser. pretty nice guitar, massive improvement from my ibanez rg7420. would've gotten a carvin but was too impatient and cheap. my next guitar will most likely be a carvin though.

agile. best cheap guitars ever. Most people on harmony central are pretty impressed and I'll have one in a few days to tell you about.

but yeah www.rondomusic.com thats not all the agile guitars just what for sale atm once I saw a 7 string for $599 that had every single feature you could want on a 7 sting except maybe a midi output if your one of those types =p.

I got a 200$ Washburn 7 string about a year ago and I've used it often since, so I guess it was worth it. The only thing I don't like about it is I've had to replace the volume knob and the input jack because the hardware is really cheap, obviously.

(On a related note, I'm definitely getting a custom one soon)

edit: just realized this post probably doesn't help much at all, oh well
