So after some reviews about the Ibanez RG 7321 im finally going to give it a go ! any things i should know about this guitar ?

I've got two of these... I'm replacing the pickups... neck pup sounds fine, but the bridge could use some definition... ordered two DSonic 7s, so when they get here tomorrow (hopefully) I'll let you know how they are...
The guitars, though, feel and play really well. If I were you I would grab one, and then replace the bridge pickup...

Yeah, I'd say get an EMG707 in there and you'll be cool as that'll fill out the somewhat thin sounding basswood body.
From clips I've heard, the 707 makes ugly string noises! Try the 707-81 instead.

Thanks guys for all the replies.. Ive heard some problem with the guitar not handling heavy string gauges ? Is that true ?
yeah i know i must cut some wood and re route the guitar if i want to put a emg ! maybe ill try also with some SD Blackouts, (thanks to the shootout that Marcus did i thinkg the SD Blackouts arent that bad but not as good as a emg thou) but who knows maybe ill try a D Sonic from DiMarzio.. Damn i hate not knowing what ill do...
Yeah im also leaning towards that option too.. but the emg is better.. maybe not THAT much, but they are better, at least for metal ! Oh and btw thanks Marcus for that Shoot-out ! it did help on this situation lol
I definitely agree with putting a blackout in the bridge of that guitar.
From what I've heard, the 7321's are great for the money. I've played a few and although I thought they felt horrible (mostly because of old light gauge strings) I thought that their construction and everything, far surpassed how much the guitar was actually worth.
I'm more of a schecter fan myself though.

yeah maybe the schecter hellraiser is better, but its out of my budget for the moment, the only thing i hated bout my hellraiser was the NECK damn i hated that neck so much.. its like a bat
Especially on the 7-strings, my good god - my friend brought his over yesterday, I really just couldn't believe it!
Yeah i mean they sound really good and all that stuff but in playability the Ibanez just wins the races by 100 miles.. also the schecter is heavy as hell
fits in the basic Schecter Diamond C-7?It comes with active duncan designed pickups

Seen so many people mention the necks on Schecters being mega thick, coming from my main guitar being an epi les paul, I shouldn't expect too much of a difference right?
Eh, Pauls have so many different necks, only one way to be sure! Also, I think the nut (and thus fretboard) is slightly wider on Schecters, which heightens the effect
