7 string pickups advice...

I need some advice!

I should be getting a 7 string soon, but I'm not sure what guitar to chose because of the pickups...

There is a Cort 7 string guitar, the scale is 25 1/2'' (648mm) and its got two
EMG HZ7 humbuckers...

Or there is a Schecter Omen 7 Extreme, the scale is 26.5 and its got two Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers that also have coil-tapping built in...

These are not the most high budget guitars, but its what I'm getting! so if you have tested out a guitar with either of these pickups in, please post here I need to decide soon!

If you're on the budget I would try to grab an Ibanez RG7321 and get it set up by a technician. Pickups? I got a D-Sonic and D-Activator neck atm but they're a bit too bright to my taste so I might end up with swapping them for some Duncans in the future.

Considering you want to tune to like drop-Q, I'd go for the Schecter

Just bear in mind the Schecter has a brutal neck joint.

Haha, I do like to detune

Although it would be nice to upgrade the stock pickups in the 7 string to a nice set of Dimarzio's or EMG 707's, I'm on a budget only for a guitar But I'm almost convinced to choose the Schecter
