From what he said in the beginning, this guy to me at least, is full of shit. I hope he's joking. He's getting a boner playing a bunch of single strokes in a fast motion? Just look around on youtube, 10 year old drummers are playing blasts and rimrolls like they're bloody machines.

This guy has no groove, if this speed, (which is nothing to write home about in the first place), is all he's got, then hes' an overblown asshole. And that interview bit in the beginning almost made me facepalm.

With all due respect this is just my opinion, I don't want to sound like a dick but all this is showing is stamina. Period.

oh well then allow me. This guy is a pretentious prick. is he serious with that interview?? he sounds like a tool. and nothing he is playing is even that impressive. His face while he does it is hilarious though.

I've heard much faster drummers, but most are not as accurate and have less stamina than this guy.

You have just described a stereotypical Canadian

His record with those bands doesn't remove the fact that that video depicted something which lacked anything but an attempt to show off.

If anyone seriously looks at that video and says that he's one of the best drummers, then I'm sorry there's a lot more one needs to hear/see.

I'm just judging over this video.

View a few more of his videos then, hes just doing what Terry Bozzio does in that video but with bands like Annihilator he keeps his beats simple but can break out some awesome fills when its needed. Basically dosen't overplay!

He also did James Labrie's solo album, very straight forward stuff!

none of those videos impressed me at all. There's so many dudes out there better than this
